NEW MORE KLEMENTINES: "sk8 @ yr own rsk"

We are beyond psyched to drop a new release from More Klementines this Bandcamp Friday. sk8 @ yr own rsk was recorded in the summer of 2020, marking the first time the band got together for a post-COVID jam. Always one to make the best of a bummer situation, Jon decided to deal with the lockdown blues by building a mini ramp in his backyard so that he and the neighborhood kids would have a place to skate. One afternoon, we decided to put the skating on hold to drag our gear up on the ramp, and with the help of Scott Amore of InnerSpaceSoundLabs, captured about an hour of Mo Klemz signature unscripted sonic explorations that we distilled into two side-long jammers. Through them, we hope you experience the joy we felt that day playing music together for the first time in what felt like ages.

With record plant turnaround times being what they are these days, we have no immediate plans for a physical release for this one. We just want to get it in your heads now. However, we are honing in on a summer release date for More Klementines’ next vinyl issue, Who Remembers Light. It's looking like July, but we'll keep you posted. In the meatime, grab a copy and drop in!
