With offices in Brooklyn and North Branford, CT, Twin Lakes is an imprint run by members of MYTY KONKEROR and Closely Watched Trains. It was founded in 2007 with the purpose of getting the music of these bands into the hands and heads of as many listeners as possible and has grown from there out of a desire to bring our love of sound to the next level by developing and curating lots of sounds. Australia's Electric Jellyfish, Michael Beach, Source of Yellow, and Dwight Smith have since joined the fold. The interest from artists and listeners all around the world continues to humble and astound us, and we look forward to continuing to share our love of sound with them.
We know there is strength in numbers and are interested in aligning ourselves with other like-minded "DIY-ers" whose music, we feel, must be heard. If we're moved by it, we will help release and promote it in small runs via Twin Lakes, be it a single, ep, or full-length. We believe that through this alliance of artists creating vital music, we will fulfill our purpose of bringing music that matters to the audience it deserves.
